  • Some consider an Event Management Company (EMC) or Destination Management Company (DMC) to offer the same service provision as a PCO. This is not the case. Whilst an EMC will specialise in brand management, audience identification, the actual concept of an event and then its subsequent delivery, and a DMC will prioritise the travel, social and people management aspects of an event, a professional conference organising company will provide a comprehensive suite of Congress related services specific to the National and International Association market and particularly but not exclusively where such resource is unavailable in-house and:
  • are self financing or profit generating through delegate fees, sponsorship and exhibition revenues
  • involve audience generation - i.e. delegates choose to attend rather than have their attendance mandated
  • involve delegates from different companies, countries and disciplines
  • include educational and technical sessions

We appreciate your Congress is your Association's most important asset, and that it is a powerful mechanism for recruiting and retaining members, for building relationships between members and commercial partners, for enhancing the reputation of your Association and for generating income.
