
An experienced conference, event and venue manager, William has more than 20 years experience in the industry.
With a degree in Hotel Management, William was formally hotel trained in all aspects of the industry at the Metropole Hotel Group (now Hilton) in Birmingham where he moved into senior roles.
In 1991 he was part of the core team that opened The ICC, Birmingham. He developed operating systems for the venue and directly managed numerous events including the IOC session held in conjunction with the Royal opening of the building and played an essential role in establishing the venue as the UK’s premier conference facility.
He became Operations and Planning Director in 1998 and Venue Director in 2002, delivering a £20,000,000 budgeted turnover. In 1998 William was responsible for venue liaison for the G8 summit.
After a period as a consultant to the World Trade Centre in Dubai, William joined TFI Group in 2006. As Group Account Director in the Meeting Point team he further developed their reputation for high quality PCO services especially in the Association Market. He is now a Director and General Manager of TFI.

Elvin joined the TFI Board of Directors in the summer of 2010 with initial responsibility for Finance. His role expanded towards the end of 2010 to include a wider range of support encompassing HR, Commercial & ITC.
Elvin started work as a trainee accountant working for a professional firm of chartered accountants. After 5 years in practice he decided to move into industry (design & manufacturing), rising from Finance Manager to Chief Accountant for IMI.
In his late twenties Elvin moved to London and with that a change of direction into the private healthcare sector. Over the next 13 years until joining TFI Elvin held several senior management / director positions in finance, operations and strategic development for a number of larger organisations (General Healthcare Group, Capita and Serco).

Before joining TFI, Tina was President of Global Leaders, which ran events around the globe, both public events featuring thought leaders as speakers, and bespoke events for clients. Prior to Global Leaders, she was President of Leading Minds, a division of IIR (now part of Informa). There, she created the prominent “Leaders in” event series that featured business and political personalities such as President Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright and Jack Welch.
During her time at Global Leaders, she created the company’s community building function (both virtual and real) and is proficient in using marketing, one-on-one communications, and communities to augment an event to deliver brand and business-building activities.
After a master’s degree in business management, intercultural studies and modern languages in 1990 from Copenhagen Business School, she joined IIR and quickly became their youngest country manager. She has worked in six countries, run events in more than 20 and is fluent in several European languages.
At TFI Group, Tina is responsible for development, sales, marketing and communications.
